I often access many imageboards in my internet activities, so why not speg about them?
The first imageboard that I ever used was 4chan in 2010. Call me a newfaggot if you want to but, yeah. I believe that the first board that I made a post was in /r9k/. I remember that they used to call r9k “Arcanine”, back in that days. Nowadays, r9k is infested with troons, normalfaggot and sexual deviants, but back in those days, it was a nice board where many social rejects would post. Another board that I used to access a lot back in those days was /gif/ (Adult GIF), where I used to watch a lof of SFM threads.
/b/ (random) was a board that I never really care and now its absolute shit. When you go to the /b/ catalog nowadays, 95% of the threads are just porn! I know that /b/ its a nsfw board, but its so hard to see a fun thread in that shithole. Also, something that I noticed on /b/, was that everytime that someone made a loli thread, some fagg0t would spam the thread with BBC porn, but he wouldn’t do the same in shota threads. I don’t know if that guy gave up or not, but whatever.
One board that I found very interesting is /vp/ (Pokemon). You would think that this would be a board dedicated to discuss anything related with pokemon like the mangas, anime, games and the trading card game, right? Well, yes… but the majority of the thread is about; shipperfags, people that want to fuck pokemons, people that want to fuck the und&rag& girls of the franchise, people fighting with each other about what is the best generation, poketubers discussion, and we can’t forget about zoomers coping thinking that pokemon is more popular now, then back in the pokemania days.
/V/ (videogame) its a mix bag, sometimes there are some fun threads, but the majority of times are just users talking about e-celebs. /vr/ its the only board that I really like, since I am a fan of retro games.
Also, speaking on videogames, there are some new boards for videogames in 4chan such as /vrpg/, /vst/ (Vidya/Strategy), and /vm/ (Multiplayer). I honestly think that the existence of these boards are completely redundant. I mean, you could always make a thread about this types of games in /v/ or in /vg/ (videogames general). There is also /vmg/ a board dedicated to talking about mobiles games, I know that there are some good mobiles games out there, but having a forum dedicated to talking solely to mobiles games feels like a overkill.
Speaking on news boards on 4chan, there is a board created on 2020 called /vt/ (virtual Youtubers). When I first saw that they made a board dedicated to discuss vtubers, I raged! It was already bad enough that no one would shut up about vtubers, and now they created a board about them?! Well since vtubers fans are extremely autisitc, at least they gave us a lot of lols, so I am okay with the existence of this board nowadays.
Also, speaking on /vt/, they also have some irc server and its pretty comfy
A board that I started using a lot recently, its /wsg/ (worksafe GIF). I don’t know why, but I just like to watch the videos and collect the gifs that they post.
I never really care about /k/, /fit/, /sp/ and some others boards. One board that I am starting to use more its /x/ (paranormal), its a pretty underrated board and sometimes people post very interesting things. I could talk about others boards too, but fuck it!
But now lets start shit on 4chan for a bit. One thing that I really hate on modern 4chan, is that the site became too much mainstream, too many zoomers and normalfaggots posting, too many discord users raiding the site posting BBC and tranny shit, and of course… its basically became reddit 2! You can get banned or warned for so much trivial shit that it’s laughable. I still like to use the site, but It is undeniable that the site has lost a lot of quality over time.
Also, can we all agree that people that only use 4chan over others imageboards are fucking idiots? They all complain that the moderation on 4chan sucks, that a lot of threads sucks, but almost no one wants to use alternatives. The main excuse of why people don’t wants to use some alts chan its because its have very low activity… of course it’s has low activity, you fucking retards! When no one want to post in a forum because it has low activity, that forum will always have low activity.
